c450 blk density issue

i have a c450 that has a new bk IU and it still has the shaddowing inside and open space in the text, EG: the iside of and 0 has a shadow. also the text is still light , if i darken it, it darkens but, the shadowing is worse. even in the meter count print, there is shaddowing in all the text .....please help...thanks

use a good non abrasive cleaner to scrub the LED array. we take out the IU's and transfer belt. so you can get your hands in there. If that doesn't work, What is the life counter on transfer belt?

Think you can set the background level density (k) to -5 !

tranny belt is right at half, but im not sure if it was re fused? this would be for all colors though right? not just the blak,? i willl clean the leds and see what gives, thanks for the info.
when i turn up the background density it only gets worse by the way...
