    BH PRO C6500 Alignment Problem

    Hi Guys,

I have a C6500 which seems to print the image at an angle on the page, which causes problems when printing back to back. 3 of the 4 crop marks line up.

Any pointers or advice on how to adjust this would be gratefully received.

The 6500 in question is on 2.7mil.

    Thanks

On the user screen, go to paper settings. From there, select the drawer you wish to adjust. On the right side of the screen, a button called "change", select that.

On the next screen, you will see a button called "both sides adjust", select that.

See attached document for specifics on what to do next.

Also, keep in mind that in the case of skewing, the tolerance on this machine is not as tight as some would like. On 11x17, the machine specs would be 2mm per side, with a skew front to back up to 4mm.

It is possible to get the machine much tighter, but it can vary widely based on the paper stock and machine settings.
