    BH600 1701 jams from tray 1 only

I have a Bizhub 600 that is giving me 1701 jams on the second page out of tray 1. Always the second page, and only on tray 1. The lead edge is making it past the registration sensor without getting the loop buckle, and then stopping. My engineering guys seem to think it's a timing problem with the horizontal transport clutches (because it's only from tray 1), but it seems to me that it wouldn't be so consistent and it would jam earlier if it was those clutches causing it. Any ideas?

Try swapping the feed assy, from one of the other trays, make sure the problem follows. If so u have it down to either rollers, or clutches. Two screws one connector.

try swapping the clutches and see if the jam code is different. Those clutches do go bad.

Try swapping your clutches on the rear of transport section. They are located in the back of transport section.

What's the copy count? Have you tried replacing the two couplings on the transport tray above tray two.

I had something similar and thought it was the clutches as well. My partner took the call due to a scheduling conflict and he recognized the problem being caused by a weak one-way assembly on the drive shaft. He deglazed the shaft where the one-way rides and flushed out the one-way with some alcohol. Back to normal after that.
