C451 HELP

OK I did a stupid thing... I swapped a TN-611(k) toner chip and put it on a TN-411(k) cartridge and also swapped out the face plate containing the key'ed section for the C451 machine. When I did this the machine started asking to install all 4 color cartridges.. what have I done and what is the fix. Customer was down without toner so I just tried to help them get up and going. I didnt do it just to trying my luck...LOL

try putting everything back as it was & wait for the correct toner

I did with no change... any ideas. The machine runs just fine, it's just asking to have the (all 4 colors) toner carts installed.

It maybe possible that you have blown the chip reading circuit? if you used the wrong chip and let a voltage run the wrong way... ?

That sounds logical, can anyone help me find what to replace at this point???
