[Dead] Bizhub C253 and FS-609.

Hello
I have a problem with a C253 and FS-609.
The machine light up with shut the right side cover.
And the machine is not show any finisher in service mode.
The finisher are also not shown, when firmware upgrade is perform.
Hope somebody have had this problem, and have some answers.

If the machine does not recognize the finisher and tells you to shut door, you blew the power supply on the machine. If the machine was sold after Jan.1 09 the board will be covered under warranty. It is about 300.00

I might be the lift motor (M6) in the Finisher that have blown the fuse F501 on the power supply.

Check the connection. Ive seen finishers with a bad connection to the copier and it doesnt get power. It it doesnt have power the machine wont know its there.

It is a small fuse (ICP) on the board of the finisher. The fuse is burned because the lift up motor is broken, usually. Unfortunately, I don't remember for sure what number is, try to measure for fuses for continuity.
