    Bizhub 200 error C3452

OK, first off, I am not familiar with Minolta, don't even know enough to be dangerous. Have a Bizhub 200 giving a C3452 error. Checked both heat lamps and thermofuse, all are OK. When I try to reset the code (according to Intravia manual and also trying to use the reset procedure as a 350) when I select Trouble Reset, the display says:
    *ABORT*
    code: *0x00Ib00
    tekname:tRT25000
    tekid: 0x000061a8
    sp: 0x88f34970
    rs: 0x812763t8
    build_3038.070418
then it shuts down and turns on again and goes to error code C3452. HUH??????
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.... Jeff M.

We had a 350 that kept coming up with fuser errors, they had some flakey safety thermostats that failed and caused codes. (low temp) After we saw the replacement procedure we decided to just replace the fuser and it solved the coding.

I've checked the lamps and the thermostat, all have continuity and seem OK. Maybe there is something in the fuser assy, because I cannot seem to reset the code. Thanks for your reply. Jeff M.

I checked the service record and we were getting C3852 codes and got some C3451's after resetting a couple of times. And I remember the all 0's abort codes as well.

My money is on an intermittent safety thermostat part # 4040 M601 00.

Thanks, Craig, guess I'll try the thermostat. It ohms out OK, so I'm scratching my head as to why I can't reset the code. Worth a try. Thanks... Jeff M.

If it won't reset, replace. It's not worth the time vs cost to repair the fuser, just replace it.

OK, replaced the fuser, still cannot reset the trouble code. Having trouble getting to the trouble reset key, I get there but just by dumb luck, I guess. I'm using Intravia's 11th edition to try to reset it, but it's kind of confusing (sorry, Jim!) It says to press the "warm restart switch" on the right side under the compact flash cover. I don't see a compact flash cover anywhere. There is a small dot on the left side of the screen, I enter "3" , then 8 zeros and press end. The Initial mode comes up. When I press Trouble reset, nothing happens for a few seconds, then the above ABORT message comes on. What am I missing? Can someome tell me step by step how to reset the trouble code? Relly apapreciate it. Jeff M.

It is on the right side... look for a little black actuator tact switch and push it. When the dot appears press 3 & then the 8 0s. And see if you get the trouble reset option.

That is correct. When you press trouble reset in the initial mode, the machine will Abort and restart itself normally. If the error is persisting even after replacing the fuser, then you have a bad main board or power supply. You might also want to check the power outlet as well I've seen bad power sources throw fuser codes.

You can open the right door and have the abot code show up
while the machine is warming up a dot will appear in the left side of the screen
when this dot appears hit the number 3
it will ask for a password type 00000000 or 12345678 and touch end
a special menu will appear and you can hit trouble reset. this will reset fuser error.
i only replace the fuse if there is a line going through the upper fuser roller where the thermostat is
