Does anyone know what the add on memory module for the FK-503 is called? I can't seem to remember and i know you need it to activate network fax option.
The FK-503 comes standard with a 32MB mem module, EM-303,304,305 are upgrade memory 32MB,64MB, and 128MB respectivly. We had a ton of extra 32 mb chips as the sales people would always purchase the extra chip, blissfully unaware that the fax came with this. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

im also mixed up.. so the fax "card" has 32 mb built-in right? ( mounted closeset to edge of main board i believe)
do we need another SU-501 (32mb mem) ?
which goes where?
The "Fax" module is the left one with the 4pcs chips going in slot marked "A". The one in slot "B" is the memory module.
SU-501 is the left module which comes with the FK-503 and has 32mb memory. It allows also for IP-Scanning. In case slot A is occupied you have to replace the existing module with the SU-501 module. Slot B should always have the memory module with the 3 chips shown above, otherwise is printing not possible. Networkfax is a software application. Until now only for XP. For W7 I haven't seen it yet.
