c353 error code c-2152

The machines transfer belt is full so I removed it to look at it and when I installed it back in the code keeps showing c2152. I cleared the counter and trouble reset the machine and the code is still there any suggestions thanks

there's a white cog on the rear of the transfer belt...try turning it towards you..if it turns it will do it under it's own power when you start to turn it

Solution

PROBABLE CAUSES:

1. Detecting Plate not positioned properly.
Shape of the detecting plate has been modified. Install the modified Detecting Plate (p/n A02E 5033 01). Please refer to the attached procedure for
instructions on how to install the modified bracket.

Note :The following are the serial number cut-inswith themodified Detecting Plate installed:
bizhub C353 - A02E010005899 and onward
bizhub C203 - A02E012005777 and onward
bizhub C253 - A02E011005566 and onward
bizhub C353P - A02E013000060 and onward
magicolor 8650 - no cut-in available

2. Transfer Belt Retraction Sensor (PS31) mounting bracket (p/n A02E 1121 00) is fixed with a screw and it can be tilted while assembling. If the bracket is
tilted, the sensor cannot detect the Transfer Belt position properly. In order to avoid tilting the bracket, the shape of the bracket has been changed.The shape of the sensor actuator has also been changed because the actuator could touch the other parts.

Notes :

a.When at the machine, please check the condition of Sensor Bracket and change the Sensor Bracket and Actuator if necessary.
b. Please refer to details in attachedBulletin Number 6252 (applies tobizhub C203/C253/C353).
3. Somepacking material was not removed froma new Transfer belt before installation. Ensure that allpacking material has been removed before the Transfer belt is installed.
4. Failure of the Transfer Belt Retraction clutch (CL7).

Check for wiring being pinched from bypass door and replace the failed parts.

We had this error few times, resolved it this way: wiped contacts on machine's inside wall, on left side of transfer belt, and reinstalled the belt.

Take the WHITE plastic bracket (slider actuator whatever) from the transfer belt, remove it and put a mylar strip under that white slider (bracket) if you haven't got a new part as Stirton suggesting. Then assemble and put the belt back.

Also make sure you have not got "accidentaly" any longer screws for transfer belt on the far side as it will block the drive mechanism , the clearence there is litterally 2-3 mm. It happened to me when I had the fuser out as well and accidentally mixed the screws.

Ha, Ha, my service manager just spent 2 days getting his ass kicked by a C203 with that same code. He could have used that info.

TRansfer Belt Assy is not seated ptoperly, Try to take out few times and check the machine, Stop the machine by opening front cover OR by opening side cover immediately after stabilization starts after warm up of machine.
THIS SHOULD RESOLEVE THE POROBLEM
