Hi,
I have buzhub 1050p with 77-25. The motor 15aar71700 gear is stripped and gear 540077321 is also bad. Is there a new mod for these parts? What are the part numbers if there is. If anyone has a motor and gear for sale let me know. I have paypal to pay for it. Also looking for cpp500,8050 and 1050p parts at a good price.

CAUSE: A failed Paper Lifting gear /D (15T/40T) and/or the Intermediate Roller Open/Close motor (M25).

Manufacturing changes were made to eliminate this situation on machines with higher serial numbers.

SOLUTION: Replace Paper Lifting gear /D (# 5400 7732 1) and/or the Intermediate Roller Open/Close motor (# 15AA R717 00 - includes worm gear).

Thanks for the reply about the motor and gear. Are you saying the new gear and motor have been changed but the part number is still the same? There is a lot of pressure on the lifting cam with the heavy spring. Does anyone put lub on the cam to reduce the pressure. This machine has 7 mil and going on 3rd motor and gear. I can`t find a supplier at a good price. If someone has the new ones for sale let me know. I have to get this thing back working soon.

Put in new motor and gear yesterday and machine is happy again. Still think the design is bad because of the spring tension on the lift cam stripping the gear and motor.

I found motors with brass worm gears and installed on original motor. Have not had a problem since.
