[Error Code] error code C-2801: Konica Minolta C6501

We have this error C-2801. We just checked so many things but the error persists and we can print only blank pages. Does anyone know how to fix this error?
    Thanks,

    Hello cmateus,

the error code C-2801 says, that the gamma correction in yellow is aborted.
The units in failure can be:
    Printer Control Board PRCB
    Developing unit /y
    Gamma Sensor PS11

The original error was C-4520, but we deactivate the "color registration" via software and then this error C-2801 started to appear; we remember to activate again the color registration and now we get the error C-4520 everytime.
      Thanks for your reply.

Yes. I am waiting for a main controller, perhaps this board will fix the problem.
          thanks anyway.

            Hi!

I had the same problem with the 4520 code. I suggest you activate the color registration, but don't let the machine do it when it starts - do it yourself. I mean, start the machine directly in service mode and do the Automatic Color Registration Adjustment.
When starting directly in service mode, the machine won't give you any C - codes. When the adjustment is done, verify that all the values in that table are close to 0. (if they are smaller than 1,5 - 2, you can turn off the machine, than back on and it won't give you the 4520 code again).

            I hope this helps.
I don't help end-users. Hate me, give me bad reputation, I don't give a rat's a**. Pay a tehnician to solve your problem! We have to live too! What do you do when something hurts? Do you go to a doctor, or do you search it on google/ forums?

It did not solve my problems. All values are close to 0.

Think will have to reinspect everything again in detail.
                    Thanks

I have also had these issues, but with magenta. So I just swaped the drum (DU-120C) and then it all started to work again. You can also try to just pick out and put in the drum again and see if that helps.

we replaced the complete transfer belt unit and the error 4520 is still there.
So, we can not find the problem, even after replacing almost everything.
Perhaps we should start all over again. Changing toners, develloper units, drums, mainboard, coronas, sensors, etc. But we did it already.
If someone has any idea that could help, we would appreciate it.
                        thanks

start the box by entering directly into service mode. Then go Process Adjustment--->Drum Peculiarity Adjustment---->Automatic Gamma Adjustment
As soon, as the maschine starts and you hear the "beeping sound" as the corona sets in, open the front door, this force the mashine to stop immedeatly. Slide out the process unit and have a look at the Transfer Belt and the Drum Surfaces. Are there color marks at all? Is one color missing? Also check the Harness at the back of the process unit, sometimes some wires get trapped between process unit and main body
If sometimes you feel a little useless, offended and depressed always remember that you were once the fastest and most victorious sperm of hundreds of millions!
