[Error Code] Bizhub 350 C1183 Finisher problem

Hi! my problem with the finisher of Bizhub 350 is that when i try to make a copy, the elevator of the finisher lift up but the paper won't come out because the exit is blocked (see attached image) then the C1183 appears. When i try to close and open again the machine. the elevator won't go down anymore then the C1183 appears again. Is there any program or adjustments to be made or do i have to align something. Thank you very much.

try to move the bin to it's home position by manually rotating the gear on the lower left of the finisher unit, it may help also if you clean the limit sensors..

I remotely recall having a similar problem long time ago. It had something to do with setting up the bins and their location, especially the 3rd optional bin (Position of the sensor, added loop connector). What's the history of the machine? Did the problem occur on site or after something had been moved/removed and/or added?

After seeing your picture once again it appears that there is something wrong with the bins. The lower bin should have a metal support. However that is not the problem I think. Marked in the picture is a slider that appears to be in the position for a 3rd bin which is not visible in your picture.

See the setting up instructions here:

The shutter is down, you don't say if it ever moves. The only time it should be down is when the trays move. Motor M12-FN moves the shutter, go to load check 70 - 7, the shutter should close and then open with each press of start.

                Glad you found it.

Page 2 #4 is indeed the slider I marked in the picture.
