bizhub 600 error code c-2203

getting error codec-2203, replaced drum motor and adjusted blade (thought blade might be binding) but did not replace blade, customer mainly prints to machine, book says drum motor or print control board. Any suggestions. Thanks

The blades flipping.

replace it and the drum if its damaged.

on prints made just before the error you will see a black diagonal line on one page where the blade started to peal back.

i'll ask the customer if this happens. The drum looks good but not sure if the blade is OEM, I know generic can sometimes cause issues.

Did someone work on the drum unit not long before the problem started? If so, it could be there is not enough powder or toner on the blade. We had this happen a couple times. Now, after powdering the drum, I turn the drum half a turn in the reverse direction, then 1 turn forward.

a genuine KM drum should only be paired with genuine KM drum cleaning blade.

non genuine, such as katun blades WILL flip on genuine drums, but perform satisfactorily with katun drums, im lead to believe.

nothing beats genuine.

Soution to constant c-2203 issues

I have been using eagle one car wax on the drum surface and the cleaning blade edge to stop c-2203. We are using non genuine drums and toner that is causing the problem. The toner does not have enough lubricating properties to it.

That would be my answer as well , unfortunately mgmt now is making the choice to make more money and worry less about pleasing the customer.I love oem stuff.
