I was wondering is there a way to upgrade a c203 with a cf card from another machine? I need both machines to work.

Hmmm... I think I remember there was a backup procedure with a CF, but that would be to only one machine and I don't think it would work on the other.Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder.
They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it. -

if I was to remove a card from machine ( working machine) and place it in a none working to see if it works, could it corrept the card from the good machine.Comment

Ummm last time I checked, that model doesn't run off of a compact flash card. Firmware updates / nvram recovery etc yes.. But run? Not to my recollection... I know the 501 series does, and not as yet sure about the c220 series or 223 series. But not the c203 series unless its hidden where i've never seen it!

I understand that he just want to use CF card to update firmware which have firmware for other model.
Of course the c203/253/353 series not run from CF, just upgradeComment
