so I have this doc feeder that will suddenly jam and throw a jam code. upon closer inspection to km website. there is a tech document. it simply says to remove take up clutch in the doc feeder. clean regrease and reassemble. but have you ever seen the inside of this doc feed? has anyone dissasembled and done this procedure? please help if you have any good advice. thanks

I was able to get the clutch out. seems there is no easy way to do this. I always find the hard way to do it. there is no other way to do it. other then taking the motors out and the back plate. yikes..

there is no real way to do it easily, what we do is order the pulley the gear and the spring, because even taking off the grease the adf will still jam and if you are going to do all that work then you might as well replace those parts so you wont have to tear it down again.
