having a problem konica di 2010 were the image on top of page is fading out replace pcu unit and main charge roller but notice toner had ran out complete and notice that machine was making a noise from the toner hoper section that sounded like a MACHINE GUN WILL THIS CAUSE THE IMAGE TO HAVE FADE IMAGE ON THE TOP OF THE PAGE BUT THE IMAGE IS FINE ON THE BOTTOM OF PAGE

sounds like the toner motor , if the toner cart is installed incorrectly but the customer it will brake the gear that augers the toner bottle. Also their is a tab that locks the toner bottle in place inside the hopper unit that may not be making contact with a metal tab way in the back of the machine. Try bending the metal tab down a bit or remove the lock from the hopper..you gunna eat yo corn bread?!? -
