    km 450 rebuild kits

I have noticed lately that you can buy rebuild kits for the konica minolta c450 which consist of a new drum, cleaning blade and developer. My question is - how do you add the developer? I know on this unit it has to go in the imaging unit but would it be poured into where the toner goes? Any ideas would be great.

Thanks for the ad trying to sell me something. I have a manual. But no manual covers this.

        That is where you're wrong.

Yes, you pour the developer right in the hole where the toner goes in...be careful, though, to pour a little, then manually drive the developer into the unit (you rotate the "gear" situated in the back of the unit), then pour a little bit more, again drive it, etc etc

Where did you get the rebuild kits? We are interested in buying to... Thanks!

If you are going to rebuild these units make sure that you chip the units as well. Konica minolta bases a lot of image factors off of the drum peculiarity, developer life and rotation time of the drum.these are all stored on the chip.

ensure that the iu is absolutely as clean as new before reassembly too - particularly the charge unit!

                    Hi
You can add the developer in the slot from where toner leaves toner cartridge. Then use TCR toner supply so developer goes smoothly in IU. Hope this may help.
