Ok, my last idea (I guess) is to swap the transfer belt unit between the 2 copiers (you said there are 2, right?); then, if the shadow is still there, swap the fusing units and if it still isn't dissappearing, I think there's something wrong with that drum you installed.. By swaping the parts, you can isolate the problem easier, in this case, when you get help from a long distance, on the internet . Only make sure that you inter-change the parts back again, on their original copier, so to say..
I don't help end-users. Hate me, give me bad reputation, I don't give a rat's a**. Pay a tehnician to solve your problem! We have to live too! What do you do when something hurts? Do you go to a doctor, or do you search it on google/ forums?

Did you try adjusting the laser beam intensity?

One unit is Prince Rupert and the other is in Terrace, about 100 miles apart, so immediate test parts swapping isn't that easy, but we have done it. I have an extra transfer belt (old one).

No King, I didn't adjust the laser intensity (I don't think). Where do I find that function?

Here is another image, You can see it seems as is some black is repeating itself cause I can see it off the edges of the image area. Does this helpkonica copy.JPG
