    [Misc] Fuser Noise

Trying to figure out what is causing a clicking/slipping gear sound in a bizhub cf3102. Seems to be related to the gear that tensions the fuser roller.

    Re: Fuser Noise

Hi! If you open the fuser unit, you will notice a sensor that determines when the pressure roller is "pressed" on the fusing belt and when not. If that sensor is broken, it never stops "pressing" and that causes the gears to slip.
I hope you understand my bad english..change that sensor and I'm 95% sure it will stop making noises.
I don't help end-users. Hate me, give me bad reputation, I don't give a rat's a**. Pay a tehnician to solve your problem! We have to live too! What do you do when something hurts? Do you go to a doctor, or do you search it on google/ forums?

Ianizer- The machie was known as a Minolta CF3102. Not a bizhub they were around quite a while before the bizhub range.

I beleive Empiru has the right idea a new fuser may be the easier way to go though.
