C6500 scan and copy background

I had a problem in machine C6500..if I copy or scan original,appear background magenta on paper and on file for reesult scan, but if I do printing even from file or test pattern result is good. any idea to solve this problem? thanks for support,..mr_drucken

here are some point to be check:

Scanning and Copying uses the scanner area, please check mirrors at ADF or scanner area.. mirrors and crystals..

In printing, its okey right? since it dont uses the scanner of the machine..

See if there is a "cable" looking like this Google Images that goes from the CCD to the back of the unit and plugs into the Image Processing Board (If I recall correctly); try to reconnect that cable at both ends; it may solve you're problem. I hope this helps!

If the controller is Fiery, I'd first reboot, get all PM, FW & Fiery SW & patches up to date;
then recalibrate, being sure to calibrate the scanner. (Install CWS 5.3 if you already haven't.)

I know that's just basic stuff, but it would rule it out.

thanks all for your support, problem had been solved by replace ccdb with new one,and the problem is come from ccdb due to electrical grounding is high, and make it shorted.thanks...
