Non-techie needs help setting scan to email function on Konica Minolta Di 3510f

I thought I had completed to steps to set up the scan to email feature but I only get this (EA01a5) error message when we try the function. Any help would be extremely appreciated. We are a small non-profit and would desperately like to use the feature!

You need to set the smtp and have a return address . The is an address like no reply@bell southsouth.com you cannot use yahoo or aol etc for a host. They change there info all the time which will make it unreliable.

The copier guy did set up a generic address on the copier it is printer@(our domain).org

Do we have to have that address added to our network for it to work?
