              Fiery X3e System Software

I am in the same boat with a Minolta CF1501 color copier. I need the system software to redo the hard drive. Where do you get it?

Di551 with X3e and some manuals with Pi6500-PRO?

First off I have read at the monolta site that the 6500 Pro controller can only be attached the the DI-650 and that is the only model I have actually put the 6500pro onto myself....I beleve the e-6500 series is used for the DI-551 ....with that in mind

You say your System software on the fiery is in german language?
It will depend on who and where is was installed, but/and also if your using the 6500PRO-? external print controler unit; it should have a small screen and menu with buttons on the front of it, and when you turn on the copier, wait about 10 seconds later turn on the print controller and be sure to watch the little screen on the print controller for the set up menu; and choose setup and from all those menus you can change the language, time and everything; ( get out your 6500 books to to which buttons are for what funtion )
Once you set up the ip address from the little buttons, you will be able to access the ip address from your computer through your browser, then you will be able to ALSO set up everything this way through the browser instead of the controller screen. Thie second way takes the least time, but you still must configure the ip add into the controller screen before you will be able to access it with the browser. One more point, after you get it all set up, the port number needs to be 9100 to be able to print from the computer to network.

and unless someone has changed it the password should be 0000 - ZEROS

I'll look for a little more info for you on this for you tomorrow.
Hope some of this helps for now
                  Tammy

It's on the back of the machine and has no display.
When you switch on control panel to Printer Mode you read all info about the Fiery. It's X3e v1.1. Thats all.
We got some papers and manuals with it and on 2 of them state Pi6500 and there is not one word about 6500Pro.
We got it from German thats why

                                cf 1501/fiery x3e controller

                                hi
I have a little problem with my printer Minolta CF 1501
When I turn on the printer starts to warm and he block's, the display show "system booting, please wait..."
                                and....that's it
So...what do I have to do? There is a back-up on the HDD's controller?
