    C253 with black display and no initialization.

    Just orange light around Start button and panel POWER is green, and Orange + Blue light on front white panel of scanner base.

    Tried FW flash = NG
    NV RAM recovery = NG

    Tried Monica FW = NG (Thanks ezzysi)

    any suggestions, going to dig through manual right now ..
    .OK Google! ... will I need Berrocca this morning?

    Does it come to Ready, then print, even with a blank display. Maybe the connector is loose.
    (It's a bad sign that the firmware is failing.) Are you sure you've got the correct, current firmware? =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      I tried Konica, develop and olivetti FW and none of them are working toget the flippin display back to life, connector checked, tried it with all IU toners out and still DEAD

        swap the 2 ram chips around, turn power on. If symptoms change (specifically lcd shows ready but is unresponsive), replace both DIMMS. I would try to reload the original KM firmware after you change the chips before you try to bring MFP up to full ready. Emujo

          Its the PRCB i have had this problem with C203 and C253.

            I agree, it could be the PCRB, but I would at least take the RAM chips with me as this is the cheapest fix, and from my experiance, it's been about 70/30 in favor of the chips. EMujo
