    DI 450 c1440 and 1441 codes

Memory checks good and not print controller ever installed.
Have replaced ccd unit and checked connectors to to pwb-IA and all outputs from PS show good.
Repairing it for church for free so I don't want to put a lot of money into it.
    Anyone have any ideas?
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Mirrors knocked out of position and/or dirty? Platen glass sitting right and clean (especially the underside with the white strip)? Any sources of false light entering optics?

Checked mirrors and sensors before I pulled CCD unit.
Sent ccd to Hytech and they said it was good.
Pulled and reset all connectors on ccd and pwbIa.
It was working before it was moved, but I don't see any physical damage.

Make absolutely sure that one of the mirrors isnt out of place, wiggle the suckers around and if your sure their good to go try......... I know you said it didn't have a controller but just for shits and giggles take off the glass and in front of the lens is a rectangular panel remove the 4 screws and verify there's nothing in the memory slot if there is yank it. If this doesn't help I would suspect you have a problemo with the IF board or better known as PWB-B. I'll ask a few of my techs if they can remember seeing this before which I think we have and it turned out to be the IFB.
