What is the image supposed to be? Are you copying something or is it a sample of background on a white paper?
If there is an image not printing in black mode you may have a failed black CCD.
Sorry, I do not have a cat in my avatar.

If you make a series of scans (in black and white, grayscale and color), does the problem occur on the resultin PDFs?

Problem solved. I just change the IU and solve the problem. It was a chipped IU that broken in a sudden.

Nice. I was going to suggest that, but the fact that it printed OK had me confused.

to me to. But in fact It did that. The printings in the old IU they was really good compared with photocopies. But I note it that they print the same pattern but was much lighter then when photocoping. thanks a lot
