    The fuser in a Di470 is different than the Di450/550. Some of the parts are the same like the lower roller and bearings.
    Hope this helps

            Rebuilt fuser and machine is working fine now. Changed Upper + lower rollers and web and upper fingers and exit swing unit. Machine is working good now although there was another episode with machine jamming at exit when doing multiple copies. Turned out to be exit actuator and spring had to be reseated properly. its too late now since you already rebuilt the unit. but I always replace both thermistors. if the thermostat is bad I do that as well. I had a heck of a time figuring out this problem. the machine just shuts off. then you turn it back on... in all cases the thermistors were caked with toner. I think with the 2 upper heat lamps it bakes these thermistors. plus you just can't clean them like the di 450. anybody else seen this?

                  Hey brent;
                  I have had the Di470 shutting down problem as well. I found that if the blue ended thermistor is moved around much, as in trying to clean it, the two tiny wires inside the thermistor touch and cause the problem.
