    [Error Code] C0301 on a C352

This one is driving me nuts.

    Already:

    - Swapped the fan with a working one
    - Measured wire continuity from the fan to the PWB
    - Swapped PWB with a working one
    - Did NVRAM Reset
    - Updated firmware

What's left is to swap the PSU, but the wiring diagram shows that this fan shares the same 5v with other working fans, so I highly doubt it.

    Any tips on this?

    Thanks.

Everything points to the PSU - Ordered one.

I'll let you know how it ends.

    Cheers!

Just in case. Sorry for the question but did you exchange the correct motor (M10) on the right door assy? If yes it is strange because the control signal for the motor is coming from motor control board and not from PSU. But as we know everything is possible.

Well, the manual tells me this errors points to the M17, which is the toner suction fan right in the front of the PSU. And, rightly so, the fan isn't moving.

We've tried the PSU on another machine and, as expected, the same fan isn't moving, so the PSU is to blame.

Are you telling me this motor is burning up the PSU?

The info i provided was based on these documents and my experiences on C250/C252. But in your case if you have tried the PSU on an other machine and it produced the same error then it means that is definitely broken.

It' a little bit confusing because as you can see from the shema there is a M10 but in the service manual and parts manual there is no reference about that. But according to the error 0301 in the SM the problematic unit is the "suction fan motor" and not the "toner suction fan motor" which you are referring to. But anyway i don't want to make the case more complicated.

C0301, according to the manual, refers to a failed suction fan. This fan is in the right side door. It can't be ordered separately it has to be ordered with the door as an assembly.
            Hope this helps
