    Data light on

    It's a bizhub C360. The customer called for a blank screen. After a re-boot the screen came back and all the functions seem to work, but the blue data light on the front of the panel stays on all the time. It blinks when prints come in, then lights solid the rest of the time.

    I thought maybe there was some sort of non-print data being sent to the printer from something else on the network, but off the network and crossover-ed to my laptop the data light remains lit.

    If I had a little more time I thought maybe reloading firmware might make a difference. Any suggestions? =^..^=

    Corrupted data...if the customer is not complaining, leave it be...requires a "data initialization" to clear..You need to backup all scan one touches, network data, and any special settings (mode memories, etc). Emujo
