DS2432 OEM reset
Hi,
I am in trouble with my Magicolor 2430 and the black cartridge. Just printed about 120 pages and the printer needs to ask for a new black cartridge. Konica cannot help, because of the warranty is over and so they cannot send a new cartridge. I should buy a new one to solve my problem. But I don't want go this way. Is there any way to reset the OEM DS2432 with the Maxims adapter and software. I think the problem will be the status byte for page1, which is set to EPROM mode. On the net there are several hardware tools to reset an OEM chip, but for my problem, the hardware would costs more than a new cartridge, so it would not be a real soloution for me. I just don't print many pages per year. Somewhere were wriiten something about 'address cheat' of the DS2432, perhaps this could a way to overwrite. Hoping for help.
