    konica 7165 moving margins

    I have a konica 7165 that intermittently moves the margin of the document over about 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch through the doc feeder, not the glass???never all the time either, just when it feels like it.
    any suggestions? I feel it could be the machine wants to retire and thats all there is to it..LOL
    Ive been trying to update this law group for months, they have a minolta di 650 as well...Ive got that one still in good shape, but this Konica now moving the margin has to be a board problem im suspecting..

      Top to. Ottom or left to right?
      Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

              Doc feed registration sensors on those feaders were tons of trouble. Usually cleaning them and the reflect plates but had to replace the reflect plates at least on one.

                  I had one where the black sheilds on the DF registration sensor cover where ripped and allowing light through. I repaired them with some black electrical tape.
