KMC652 Error code C-6104 code.

Have a brand new KM652 with a C-6104 code. Any suggestions? I am asking for a friend of mine.

the second side cleaning brush is rotationally locked when the jam release door it sits in is opened. ensure that door is closed properly.

I just got this on a c552ds after updating FW to the latest - prior to the FW update this unit worked fine.

Any thoughts would be very welcome.

I checked the second side cleaning brush and jam release door - reset all ADF connectors and found no issues with the covers off the ADF...

You realize this thread is 5 years old...did you by any chance install the non-DS firmware? Emujo

Yessir I realize it (I try to search the forum for answers before posting).

I used the only C452/552/652 FW that is on MyKM... At least that I can see.

cap0319, its a dead discontinued boat anchor. go back to the ver of FW that was on it when it worked and walk away slowly.

I would LOVE to do that, wouldn't I need a copy of the old FW to do so? Sorry if that's a dumb question I have zero experience rolling back FW.

Also, the reason I was trying to update FW anyway was because it would randomly drop off the network AND PageScope was completely unavailable at all times (Yes, I tried all three web browsers AND top.xml...)

wait, 6104, if i remember, take the cleaning plate on the slit glass and slide it both ways fast a couple dozen times. it may start moving properly. and clear the code in system 1 initialization system error clear.

Your post was an error on the C552DS, you state above that you "used only the C452...FW on Mykm". If this is true then you have indeed loaded non DS firmware on a DS machine. If you have access to MKM go back and download the C552DS firmware and reload. Emujo

On MyKM the only FW available is in a folder named "C452/C552/C652".
I can post a screenshot if you'd like.

Either you're not direct or dealer KM, or you have no idea of where to look for firmware on MyKM..C652/552DS firmware is readily available. Emujo
