Bad IU's I would think. Do a single color copy of something for each color and see which is giving you an issue.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
Is that A3? And the image repeat is in the main scan direction? In Magenta? I'd wager a magenta laser malfunction... After eliminating the easiest/cheapest possibilities, try to swap the magenta laser with another color.
' "But the salesman said . . ." The salesman's an asshole!' Mascan42
'You will always find some Eskimo ready to instruct the Congolese on how to cope with heat waves.' Ibid
I'm just an ex-tech lurking around and spreading disinformation!

Nope, is an A4, sorry for the crappy photo,
taken by my mobilephone.
Thanks for all the input, will try the mag IU.
Go into service mode, test mode, and kick out a gradation print of all 4 colors invidually. This will narrow it down.....
I would like to know which is used for this job. From the image (printed text in image) attached, it looks like Transperant PVC media. If so, it could be Fuser unit. Also please make sure correct toner is used.
Check the two green levers on the fuser aren't pushed all the way down in the envelope position. Have seen this cause double image and dirty copies. Levers should be flicked up for normal printing
