Had a good one today, it won't copy scan or print. Has the blue light and says ready to copy but when you hit start it won't print anything and the job switches to "stopped" in the job details, you can try and release it but nothing happens until you delete it and it goes back to a ready state . Tried unplugging it, trouble reset, initialize data, and firmware update. I thought I had it with the firmware because the replace IU message came up as soon as it booted up. Turned off those messages in service mode but still happens, any job will sit in the queue saying "stopped" and will say originals 1 copies 0. In utility>administrator mode the "restrict copy" menu is empty, all 3 pages are just empty menu's. The HDD says not installed, but it was quitting time and I didn't want to tear off the back cover to look it there was one or not. Any ideas??

Re: bizhib C550 cant copy print or scan again
I had a bizhub C360 the other day that was doing the same exact thing. This machine has had some weird symptoms since it was new. The first thing that I noticed was that a bunch of the Utility/Counter buttons were missing. Sometimes I could get them back by powering Off/On. Sometimes not.
I was unable to fax, scan, or use User Boxes. User Box and Fax/Scan buttons only double-beep. One-Touch User Box Registration button is absent from Utility/Counter menu. Barcodes are not printed from BAAN print jobs.
I discovered that the hard drive is disabled (un-set). Enable HDD. Perform data clear. Re-enter IP and SMTP information. Load Movie Data. Load Barcode to HDD. The HDD seems to be working fine now that the machine knows that it is there.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
