    This firmware is great. You just have to make sure you keep the consumables on hand as when they are done, they need to be replaced!

    Beating a dead horse here....install the PPLM firmware, you don't have to re-chip, refuse anything...Units run untill CQ issues require replacement..Emujo

    The replacement CYM units can be re-chipped although getting the chip in and out is not easy. It is much easier to reset the chip while it is still in the IU.

    The m/cs come from the factory without chips, but was thinking of putting a chip where there should be one...just to see if it would reset....

    The imaging units that are in the machines from the factory seems unchippable. Atleast that's what we've found. The replacement units you order does have the chip in the same place as the C451/C550 ones.
    We change the units at the first interval, then chip them at the next (depending on wear, etc).

    Can the image unit be chipped on c452/552 and where does it go on the unit? I stripped the nit but i cant find where the chip should go.
