    Bizhub 350 background

    Hi Expert, i encounter a problem that my print out have some background. my original ATDC is 201 and i trying to adjust to 190 or 180 but it occur error code c2557, can anyone advise base on the print out i attached?

    Looks like the drum is worn out.

      beguen to copie and stop the copy when the paper near the fuser don t let entring in the fuser if u don t fined the background the problem from the fuser and if nn loking for the drum.

        atdc value must be 105~130, your developer is runing out

            to get round the error message, empty a small piece of the dev out of the unit and run f8 the ATDC sensor will then start to reduce, then repeat until acceptable reading. Make sure not to take too much out of the unit as you will get an error message.

              Sounds like a lot of work to save a little money. Much easier to replace drum and dev and be done with it.

                I totally agree with you, but I have on a few occasions needed to do this to get a machine working until parts were available.

                  Check the two seal on the developing unit, if damaged apply remedy... and check also the roll especially on the right side coat it with scatch tape just 3-5 tuns to increase the clearance between drum and developing sleeve.
