Re: Reset 'Life Limit' from web interface?
Has to be done through Service Mode.
Find Manuals4You and buy the service manual which will tell you the process. Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends. -
Re: Reset 'Life Limit' from web interface?
It has absoultly no bearing on the operation of either the MFP or the browser...If you don't have a maintenance contract and don't want to spend $150 for a tech to come out, just ignore the message. You replaced the filters and thats the only thing that really matters. EmujoIf you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.Comment

Re: Reset 'Life Limit' from web interface?
It has no bearing on the operation, except the users are annoyed at the message always being on the display (it goes back to the message after every use). I was trying to save myself a trip back to the customer's because I can log into the machine via a web browser, but I can't find any entryway to perform service from that interface. I guess I will have to go back.Comment

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
