    IU / Dev unit reset

Hello,Is there a way to reset Image unit/Developer unit through service mode? From what i understand if i have latest f/w on the copier it can be done. I tried on a few different models in the counter menu of service mode but i was unable to highlight the Image unit option.Should i be looking in the different option or the f/w not up to date? Right now i have to chip them but i don't always have the right chip on the car for a particular copier.Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

I have no idea but we have some very bright guys around here, they just look into their crystal ball and will know instantly which model you are talking about. Their answer will than be there in a split second. For sure.

Iam not after a specific model just in general and especially the latest product. As they all much alike i would guess the procedure would be the same or very similar between models (if there is a such a thing at all)

Thereare Dipswitch settings that you have to change after putting on the latest firmware for the newer machines. There is a bulletin about the settings on Konica's Website.

Unfortunately i am not a Konica dealer so i have no access to the bulletin. However i do have access to latest f/w. i guess it is not enough to just u/g f/w...

The firmware does not RESET the image unit but prolongs its life.
it also prolongs the transfer belt and fuser and the drums in the newer models

you can trythese, not the latest firmware but the switches should work
if you can find the latest bulitin that would be best for i got this a year ago or so

For C353 you need GPG-R6 firmware installed. That should fix it.
