We have been seeing these jams on about 75% of new installs..problem is with the width detect sensors (Bank of 3) They seem to be getting stuck in the unflagged position and when paper passes it will either rip or jam. The fix we are using is to stick a piece of heavy duty mylar the same length as the bank of sensors in such a manner as to push the sensors in the feed direction just a few degrees. This allows them to float correctly in their respective cutouts when the jam access cover is closed. Don't push them over to far or they will be flagged when you close the cover...We have had 0 call backs on the modified MFPs in the field and we have instructed our setup people to install the mod on all new MFPs. This is NOT a KM certified mod...Emujo

Good to know! Thanks for sharing. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
