Now, why would you want to do that? Don't know any HONEST tech that would do that.

If such a reset did exist, the members of this forum have the professional integrity not to post it.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Replace the NV Ram, but that won't reset the hard counter.

Well actually, only the members WITH integrity wouldn't post it. But I have seen on this board and on others where this question comes up, and no matter how many techs with integrity will make a comment on it, some jerk is bound to come along and think he's a hero for posting the info.

Its nearly impossible do it anyways. Send in boards to Konica etc. Costs is high.

I suppose I was just hoping noone here would prove me wrong.
              It was worth a try.

The hoops you have to jump through make it highly improbable.

I believe you can find out how to do that at the same place you can find out how to turn back the odometer of your car.

sometimes that happens when you send a machine out on demo, the machine is no longer new and shouldn't be sold as such
