    Bizhub 363 parts question :|

(sigh) I hate I am even asking for this. A customer broke the cover for the DV connector. For those that know.. Well you know. I can't find a part number for it. I have looked all over that damned parts manual. Anyone have a number or can at least tell me which section it is in?

    Thanks

are you talking about the 1 screw plastic cover for the developing unit electrical connector ?

Hell, I've accidentally broken this off before myself, it doesn't affect the machines operation at all and some people even leave it off anyway.

You mean the one that covers the connector that engineering forgot.......We throw it out at first removal.

I've thrown a spare in the 120K kit just for those overly curious endusers that break it off. IMHO it discourages them from removing the imaging unit, and there's nothing they can really do with the imaging unit but maybe light shock the drum, or break something. It's a cheap price to protect the drum. Plus I know to watch these machines more closely. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
