    fs 524 that fits on a bizhub 601 problem

    the call was only jams when we staple. turns out the staple unit (rear) cartridge was plum stuck. it will not come out. so I had to get it out. unfortuantly. but I am pretty sure they tried and pryed it. I ordered a new staple unit and carrier. is this a common occurance? I am pretty dissapointed with this unit. I have never not been able to dissasemble a staple cartridge. any one else had any experience with this particular unit>?

      It's not uncommon for this kind of stapler to get out-of-time when a staple jam has occurred. To get to the staple jam you must manually turn the stapler motor until the stapler jaw reaches the top of it's throw, then the staple cartridge will come out.

      The good news is that the flesh on your fingertips does grow back ... eventually. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          maybe that was the problem at first. but the staples were so jammed that I need to take the staple unit out now
