If (and thats a big if) you can get the developers/starters you can fill them back up and force stabilization. Problem is the units are chipped for life and will need to be reset.
Regardless, if the customer was dumb enough to do this they should be paying for new units. Period.
Besides, they are less likely to do something stupid again after they have had to pay for the mistake. -
Re: konica minolta c450 IU
lol
we had a customer do this.
we just charged them for 4 new imaging units, there really is no conceivable excuse as to why you, the service provider should ware any of the cost what so ever. They took it upon them selves to do it and in life there are consequences for making the wrong decisions, this is no exception.Comment

Re: konica minolta c450 IU
Wow.............no machine is safe when a customer is near. Those developers are not available. Don't waste your time. Sell them 4 new IU's and be done with the problem. With the price on those IU's I'm sure the customer will be more careful in the future.sigpicAnything can be made to work if you fiddle with it long enough- San Diego Copier Repair.comComment

Re: konica minolta c450 IU
We had a customer do that...it was a weekend & the warning was "replace waste toner box"....so they emptied the WTB & all 4 IU's....Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...Comment
