    BH-C-20, empty prints

    BH-C-20, empty prints.

Customer called me that suddenly the machine produces only blank empty sheets of paper. Copies, prints and internal print outs result in a sheet of paper without the slightest image on it. No error codes.

My guess is 1st or 2nd transfer but since the machine is located in a far location and I never had this nor heard about such an issue I'd like to know before I go there if of any of you guys had similar experiences. Any ideas please?

    Hi,

There is a lock that keeps the 2nd transfer roller in place. That might be broken. I had a similar case once and it turned out that one of the locks was broken.
There's also a spring under the 2nd transfer assy. That could have been displaced.

    Hope this is helpful.

I've had this happen too and it was simply a case of restarting the machine.

Had a same issue yesterday but with a C280. The transfer belt was torn up and to the point where it couldn't rotate at all.

          Didn't throw an error code?

Nope. Copies and internal prints just came out blank.

              Pretty! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                Re: BH-C-20, empty prints **solved**

Just restarting the beast cured the problem.

Thanks for all the input guys.
