    Bizhub 500 C-3201

I have a 500 with a C3201 code. I replaced the Fuser motor and the code went away, but it came back. Checked all connections from fuser to board. Has anyone have this problem?

Could be the web isnt winding correctly, and of course updating the firmware to Phase 3 or Print Control Board. (back of copier right-hand=side).

Thanks Downunder. I went back and found the fuser roller were barely turning. Lubricated moving parts with high temp. grease and oil, run it and is as good as new. What bothers me is that it only has 120k.

        Hi, thanks for reply.

When this model hits 350,000 to 450,000 the fuser drive gears (on the main frame)chew out. There is a mod for this depending on the serial number. Keep an eye on the small silver bearing. It collapses, and the shaft also wears out.

Hi Tex, So it's happening on other boxes also. Sometimes you can't win. Thanks for the warning.

sure thing TATA, I found out if you replace 3 of the one way gears it fixes the code and much more. one clue is if you look at the shafts they are dark brown turning to blue . Hot huh
