C-650 Scanner assy

We had a company call us to look at a KM C-650 that was making black copies. My boss went out to it and found the whole scanner assy had been smashed in shipping, glass broken, rails bent, mirrors and lamp assy crooked.
This unit needs to be replaced (whole assy), does anyone have an idea how much this assy is? They need it for insurance.

I would think you can get a used parts machine for under $1000 in good shape.

what the meter on their machine?


if its over 350K-500k, i would tell them to say its cheaper to get a new machine - which you should sell them.

build up 20 hours in labor @ $140 hr. (diagnosis, etc)
Part to be determined at approx $750-$1500

Konica Minolta does not sell the scanner assy as a whole unit. Methogod is correct, you will be better off finding a used C650 to either exchange the scanner assy with or just replace the C650 as a whole.
