    C250 C-2651

Tech went out to replace drum for Cyan and now we get the C-2651 code. He left went back to shop to get another drum and when he went back it was working, only it still says replace Cyan imaging unit. When he does the C-2651 code pops back up.

    Any ideas?

CAUSE: Cyan (C2651), Magenta (C2652), Yellow (C2653) or Black (C2654) Imaging unit EEPROM Access Error. The rewritten data, which has been read out, checked and found as error.

SOLUTION: To correct, perform one or more of the following:
        1. Clean the connection between the Imaging Unit and the machine.
        2. Reinstall the Imaging Unit.
        3. Replace the Imaging Unit.
        4. Replace the PWB-M Mechanical CB (p/n 4038-0101-05 for bizhub C250/C250P and p/n 4038 H001 01 for bizhub C252/C252P).
        5. Flash the MFP with current firmware.

Thanks paul, what would we ever do without your smiling face on our posts!

We have narrowed it down to the contacts on the front. Old beast, too many IU changes and too cheap a client to upgrade!

          Thanks all!
