[Dead] C364e Firmware load to MFP N/G

Hi All,

I have a C364e that would only boot to the second book marker so i thought ok lets do the firmware.

All the boards load ok but the MFPB comes up with NG, So i have replaced the MFP board only to find that the new one comes up with NG.

I also tried to load only the MFP board but still got NG, I have reseated all connectors and SSD board but the fault remains.

Has any one had this before??

Have you entered the correct Machine / Type settings after you changed the MFP Board?

I have been where you are. You can try downloading the reset tool from the KMBS/SSD site. If that doesn't work you will probably need to replace the SSD board. Hope that helps.

Did you resolved the problem ? I have the same problem in a C224e

I have used the reset tool to fix the problem where it won't get past the two towers/columns on a couple of occasions. I have also seen the problem caused by both a bad MFP board or a bad SSD.

Ee had a c364e that wouldn't boot up most of the time and was stuck on the second bookmark as you called it. The SSD was bad, and we had to have tech support approve our order.
