    [Electrical] C353 Garbled Screen

    Hello there guys.

I was curious to see whether any of you ever encountered this one on a bizhub machine.

    garbledscreen.jpg

Machine works fine aside from the messed up screen.

Steps taken to try to find out the origin (without success):

    - Replace entire operation panel with a working one from another machine;
    - Disconnect all peripherals
    - Update firmware
    - NVRAM Restore
    - Check panel cable continuity
    - Clean memory DIMMs
    - Swap memory DIMMs
    - Use only one DIMM on the bottom socket
    - Disconnect HD
    - Remove NVRAM (machine will hang at the sandclock, but screen still garbled)

    Any tips are welcome!

    Happy 2014!

Just now noticed that my colleague has already asked for help about this problem over here.

I had that on a c360 and only by replacing it did it work right again.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
