    Hi,

    ** Problem Solved **

To anyone missing the network settings tab in administrator settings and also the image controller tab in service mode the solution that solved it for me was ARP and PING. Immediately after the successful ping the missing menu tabs reappeared and I successfully managed to print a test page.

Address resolution protocol. It basically allows a device to send a broadcast message out to other devices on the network to see if a particular IP address belongs to them. If not that device ignores the request. If so the device replies back with its Mac address to original device that sent out an ARP request. The original device will then send encapsulated packets to the Mac address.
