Stick a mag screwdriver into your waste box. You will probably find all of your developer is going here. Emujo

You say no error codes, but are there any P codes at all?
What are the life of the dev units?

Just to be clear: the c224 (and "e") series machines use an "Auto-Refining Developing System". In other words, the machines are designed to purge older developer while constantly adding new developer via the toner. All toners on these series have a small amount of developer mixed into them, which is (theoretically) left behind in the developer tank. Eventually, when those developer particles are worn down enough, they will be carried out to the waste toner bottle.
