Re: license management error
Somehow, I get the feeling you don't actually read the responses to your posts:

Just because you don't like the answer, doesn't mean that it isn't the answer. Asking three times will not change the answer.
Call a KM dealer. That's it. The end. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: license management error
I'm not sure if this will help you with your C550, but I have had License management errors on three C353 series machines and replacing the EEProm has fixed it all three times. I didn't have to call KonMin once.
Hope this helpsComment

Re: license management error
I had a Bizhub 601 come up with a license management error after wiping the HDD. A technician can use the License Management Server to request a initialization code which should reset it.NOTES ON HOW TO USE THE FAX MACHINE.
1. Get into your DeLorean (or your TARDIS) and go back to 1990.
2. Place papers in the machine - Face Down.
3. DO NOT dial 9
4. Rejoin the rest of modern civilization.Comment
